    Northwest Philly neighbors shared their experiences around city housing concerns at Sunday’s town hall

    Over 60 neighbors gathered at POWER Interfaith’s Housing Justice Town Hall in Germantown to share stories of displacement, affordability struggles, and property tax pressures. Though Councilmembers Cindy Bass and Anthony Phillips were invited, neither showed up. Still, neighbors spoke powerfully about their lived realities and asked pressing questions about the city’s housing future.

    Philly Gear Library breaks down barriers to the outdoors

    The Philly Gear Library was started two years ago by Robin Roberts, and is dedicated to making outdoor experiences like camping and backpacking accessible to all people, especially marginalized people. They provide low cost rentals and orientations training people how to use gear.
