Friends of the Wissahickon imagine more accessible woods this summer
Friends of the Wissahickon has secured final funding for the Germantown Neighborhood Connection project, a capital effort aimed at making the Harvey Street and Lincoln Drive entrance to Wissahickon Woods safer, more accessible, and more inviting. Planned upgrades include an ADA crosswalk, rebuilt sidewalks, and improvements around the Henry Houston statue area, with construction expected to take place over the summer.
