PHA seeks $84 million rehabbing of longtime blighted Germantown Settlement properties
After years of vacancy and uncertainty tied to the collapse of Germantown Settlement, the Philadelphia Housing Authority says it’s aiming to redevelop dozens of scattered East Germantown (and a few East Mt. Airy) properties into 121 affordable rental units. Amongst things noting are safety, accountability, and maintenance at specific sites.
