Bernice Rosalind Eugenie Sebastian has lived across countries and generations, starting as a student teacher at 12 and growing a rural school into a hub for opportunity in Saint Kitts and Nevis. Now 111 years old, she lives in West Germantown and is officially the oldest person in Philadelphia.
