New Neighborhood Community Action Center officially opens in the eighth district

The 8th District’s new Neighborhood Community Action Center, located at the Joseph E. Coleman Library, is now open to serve residents. Staffed by a community manager and organizer, the center helps with city services like trash pickup, 311 issues, and more. It also acts as a space for residents to address any quality-of-life concerns with city officials. At the grand opening, Mayor Cherelle Parker emphasized her vision for a government that directly engages with the community. Visit the center during open hours to connect with the team and access services.
