    Councilmember Bass proposes stricter regulations for businesses deemed a ‘nuisance’

    In late February, Councilmember Cindy Bass introduced Bill #250123, aimed at cracking down on "nuisance businesses" in the 8th District. The bill would suspend licenses for businesses violating safety codes, including unauthorized layout changes or failure to comply with state regulations.
