Community members and teachers express concerns about the future of public education at the Northwest Education Town Hall

As federal funding for education faces serious threats, over 100 community members packed into the Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields in Northwest Philly to talk facts, fears, and action. This town hall—hosted by Power Interfaith—marked the first of four across the state, calling for justice in education funding. State Reps. Andre Carroll and Tarik Khan, and Sen. Art Haywood, emphasized that Philly schools are still underfunded by billions. Educators warned: without Title I, classrooms will collapse.
