When Marie-Monique Marthol joined Rebuild Philly’s Carpentry Academy, she wasn’t just learning a trade—she was stepping into a whole new future. After years in health education, she took a leap into construction, balancing training with caregiving for her 111-year-old aunt.
Now in her second year of apprenticeship, she reflects: “This program made a big difference. We met industry leaders, built skills, and prepared for the real world.” This year, Rebuild is once again offering a pathway into the trades.
